My maiden name is Marburger. I'd be happy to share or trade info.
I have this name several times in my family tree. Not sure of one of them so hoping others will have the name too.
My ancestors were among Stephen F Austin's family registers. I'm 15 miles from Washington on the Brazos. There are many tiny cemeteries in the area. If within range I would be willing to go take pictures of markers if cemetery where ancestor is buried is known.

Hi Tanya

Thank you for joining the Integrators Challenge this month.

I noticed you haven't added your sticker for participation on your profile. You can do so by adding the words Integrators Challenge with the {{ }} in front and back, in your biography.

Good Luck!! Dorothy ~ Integrators Project Coordinator

Welcome to the Texas Project!!. Texas is a sub-project of us_history!1

Here is the project page link.

Please check out the Space pages posted on the Texas Project. I notice you have mention of Washington-on-the-Brazos here on your page.. Perhaps a space page for the area?? I have some on Brazos County.

For questions, just ask?

You've been a member for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

Hi Tanya,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Start with the New Member How-To pages ā€” they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around.

Take your time, and let me know if you need any help using the site. Iā€™m always happy to answer questions.
