Based on the transcript of the Bush River Monthly Meeting Minutes to the right of this biography, Mary, wife of Jonathan Taylor, the elder, Mary Elizabeth was born in 1734 in Baltimore, Maryland. Is it possible that Jonathan married a different woman, and that Mary is one of his children? If Mary is the wife, then her marriage took place when she was 15 or 16, and her first child was born when she was not yet 17. ^[4]
