Biography
John Stephens Marcy, son of Erwin, or Irwin, C. and Carrie (Coyle) Marcy, was born on 20 April 1886 at Exeter, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[1][2][3]
His mother died about 1887 and he appeared on the census of 23 June 1900 in the home of his father and step-mother at Exeter, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[4]
He married Anna F. Alling, daughter of Charles S and Carrie (Wheeler) Alling, on 7 June 1916 at Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[1]
John died on 8 March 1939 at Ransom, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Marcy Cemetery, Duryea, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[3] His memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members. [2]
