On March 10, 1753, the estate of Peter Bonneau was partitioned. Benjamin Marion, husband of the widow of Peter Bonneau, represented his wife as an executor and a recipient of her allotment. Also acting as executors were Peter Bonneau's brothers Samuel and Benjamin Bonneau. The slaves were apportioned into five lots, with one lot to Benjamin Marion and the other four to Peter's children.[1]
