Parents

John is the only son of the outlaw Sir John Markham of Cotham and Alice Skipwith (b. c. 1444).^[4] His mother was the daughter of Sir William Skipwith of Ormsby, Lincs.^[5][6]

Marriage

He had three wives: Anne Neville; Margery Longford; and Anne Strelley. Presumably in that order.^[7]
