Anna Markam was born about 1500. Married 1552
This profile appears to be a case of extensive tree copying without any actual research.
She appears in numerous unsourced and often conflicting trees at ancestry of which this [1] is an example. She is also present on the tree at Family Search [2], which unusually dioes have a source attached. Unfortunately that source is the will of a Jane Benedict of Hapton, Norfolk in 1578 and contains no information that would link to Anne (Markham) Benedict of Nottingham.
The Markhams of Nottingham are a well known armigerous family and appear in the Visitations of Nottingham. The trees presented there have several Annes, none of whom are married to a Benedict.
The FamilySearch Tree maintains that this Anne is the daughter of Richard Markham and Anne Hemingham. That couple did have a daughter called Anne (as per the Visitations) and she appears in wikitree as Anne (Markahm) Riggs.
