Abraham Markle (1760-1834) and his wife Barbara Schaber lived in Pennsylvania then came to Upper Canada by 1796. They lived in Grimsby Township, Lincoln County, then in 1806 moved to Toronto Township, Peel County. Includes four generations of descendants in Peel, York and Norfolk Counties, and in Iowa, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
