Last Will and Testament of Sarah Marks Crask-Transcript In the name of God Amen I Sarah Crask of the parish Lunenburg and County of Richmond being weak in body but of a perfect sound mind and memory than god therefore and calling to mind the dangers of this transitory life do make and ordain this my last will and testament. First, I give my soul to God who gave it me and my body be buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named in a decent and Christian manner and then that all my lawful debts be aid to and after so one the because of what worldly estate the Lord hath been pleased to bless us with, I do will bequeath and dispose of in the manner and form as follows… I give and bequeath unto my son Jesse Crask one yoke of steer, to cows, two breeding ?, two ewes and twelve pounds spices to be delivered immediately after my decease to have and his heirs forever… I give and bequeath unto my youngest son James Crask all the remaining part of my Estate and for it to be possessed with it immediately after my decease and his heirs forever, but provided he my said son James Crask should decease under the age of twenty one years and having no lawful heirs that then what I have given him to be equally divided between his brothers Vincent Crask and Jesse Crask one to have as much as the other. Lastly, I do nominate and appoint Vincent Crask and Jesse Crask my two sons Executors of this my last will and testament revoking every other will or wills by me heretofore. Witness my hand and seal this 1st day of December 1791 Sarah Crask William Yates Nathaniel Strothers Peggy Crask Presented by Vincent Crask and Jesse Crask
