Biography
Adolphus Marks was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Adolphus Marks was born in 1837 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, the son of Solomon Marks and Hannah Marks.[1][2]
He married Charlotte Cohen on 5 December 1860 in St. Kilda, Victoria.[1][3]

- On the 5th instant, by the Rev. M. Myers, at the residence of the bride's parents, Fairlie House, St. Kilda, Mr. Adolphus Marks, of Launceston, Tasmania, eldest son of Mrs. S. Marks, to Charlotte, third daughter of Samuel Cohen, Esq., of Melbourne, Victoria, and both grandchildren of Mr. Henry Cohen, of Castlereagh-street, Sydney.

Adolphus died on 24 March 1882 in Sydney.[1][5]
