Biography
Benjamin Marks was born in England 1829. His parents were Moses Marks (1791-1844) and Rachel Solomons (1789-1840) [1]
Benjamin Marks and Mary Aaron were married June 7th 1854, in the Great Synagogue, Dukes Place, London. Their marriage was registered in the parish of St. Luke, London. [2][3][4]

DEATHS
MARKS - On the 1st inst., at his late residence, Woodstock, 168 Gatehouse-street, Parkville, Benjamin, the beloved father of Katie, Alfred, Rebecca, and Fanny Marks, and Mrs. A. Israel, Mrs. M. Greenbaum, and Mrs. R. Israel, of Melbourne ; also Moses, Harry, and Gabriel Marks, of Suva, Fiji, aged 62 . His end was peace. God rest his soul.
