Biography
Sarah was born 22 July 1836 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Henry Marks and Rebecca Cheeks. She died 9 August 1880 and ewas buried at the Olde Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lancaster County, South Carolina.[1]
In 1850, Sarah was living with her parents and siblings in the Steele Creek Township of Mecklenburg County.[2]
