Thomas was born about 1816 in Ireland and he was "a plasterer and a mason".
Based on very old family letters, Thomas Marks married Janet Alves about March 1842.
Research Notes
- Janet and Thomas' son William Marks has been discovered but since he was born almost 10 years after their marriage, it's hard to believe there weren't other children who may or may not have lived until adulthood.
- I've tried to find them in the 1851 Census since son William states he was born the following year in London, Middlesex county, Ontario so Janet and Thomas should still be alive but unfortunately, I've not been able to locate them.
