Bob Marley was born in Jamaica.
His final words to his son Ziggy were "Money can't buy life."
- Blue Plaque for Bob Marley, will be installed this year 2019 Another famous personality to be commemorated with a blue plaque this year includes Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley. His plaque will be installed at the Chelsea house where he lived in 1977.
