Biography

Harold was born in Hoxie, Lawrence County, Arkansas in 1914. He married Ruby Phillips in Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas in November of 1933. They had eight children, but only seven of them lived to adulthood. Harold and Ruby would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November of 1983, but Harold was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January of 1983 and died on February 11 of that same year in Newport, Arkansas. He was buried in his former hometown of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
