Research Notes

It is not mentionned that he was "mineur" (- 20 years old) in the Marriage record. He must be born about 1732.. [5]

According to historian André-Carl Vachon, Jean-Batiste Lemarquis died before the family left Isle Saint-Jean in 1756. However, he was not listed as deceased in their daughter Anne Marguerite's baptism record on 20 March 1757 on Isle Saint-jean. [6]
