Biography
Dora Ann Marrs was born on 01 Jan 1868 in Williamson County, Texas. She was the daughter of Mathew Marrs and Janetta Russell. The 1880 census[1] lists Dora as living with her family in Williamson, Texas where her father is farming.
On 07 Sep 1884 Dora married John Bearden in Corn Hill, Williamson, Texas. Between 1885 and 1900 Dora gave birth to their four children. The 1900 census[2] shows Dora raising her family in Williamson where She and John are farming.
John died in 1950. Dora Bearden passed away on 27 Oct 1960 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas. She is buried[3] at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas next to John.
