Biography
In 1858 James Marsden was living at Orrell Villa, Gloucester Road, Birkdale Park, Southport, Lancashire. James was born about 1793. James Marsden was described as a "Gentleman" on the marriage of his daughter Elizabeth to Charles Hill Platt in 1867.
James Marsden died 12th December 1880 at Birkdale, Lancashire, leaving a Will proved January 14th 1881, to William Marsden of Orrell, Boot and Shoemaker: valued under £3,000.
