Biography

Frances was baptised on the 29 Apr 1821 at Brinkley, Cambridgeshire and this confirms her parents as James and Hannah, her surname has been transcribed as Mash. [1]

In 1841, Frances was living with her parents James and Hannah Marsh in Norney, Brinkley, Newmarket Union, Cambridgeshire, England. Her siblings George, Emily, Charlotte and James were also in the household. The transcription says other people are in the hosuehold to, but when looked at more closely these people are in a different household. [2]

In 1851, Frances is living with her parents James and Hannah Marsh both of West Wratting in Cambridgshire, they are living at Brinkley, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]. Her siblings George, Sarah and Hannah are also in the household and her nephew and niece James and Charlotte Marsh. Frances' father is a Butcher and carrier.

Thomas married Frances Marsh in 1855 at Newmarket, Cambridgeshire. [4]

In 1861, Thomas was living at School Road, Kirtling, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England, he was an Ag Lab born 1821 in Suffolk, wife of Frances born in 1831 at Brinkley, Cambridgeshire, children at home were Martha, Susannah, and George and James. [5].

In 1871, Thomas (transcribed as Thos Burlin) was living at Street, Kirtling, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England with is wife Frances and children, Susannah, George, Thomas, Jane and Hannah. [6]

In 1881, Thomas, Frances and 2 of their children namely Hannah and Thomas were living at (Cottage), Kirtling Street, Kirtling, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England. Thomas' birth has been transcribed as 1815 and Frances as 1821, both Thomas' are Ag Lab's and Hannah is a dressmaker. [7]

Fanny Bullen was buried on the 20 Apr 1885 at Kirtling, Cambridgeshire, she was 64 years of age, [8]
