Sarah's maiden name has not been proven. There are many that believe she is a Marsh, daughter of Thomas Marsh Jr. and Margaret Neale.
17 Feb 1723/4 - Deposition of Sarah Athey, widow of George, states "several of her children" were present when a boundary post was set and her husband bid the young people to remember that it was the dividing tree between Henry Goodridge and William Hunter. Sarah gives age as 57. This seems to indicate there were other children besides Thomas and George.
