In the name of God Amen. I Richard Marshall of Albemarle County and State of Virginia being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in teh following manner and form that is to say my will and desire is that my beloved wife Mary Marshall shall have all my estate both real and personal during her widowhood after all my just debts is paid then to be equally divided between James Boswell my naturl begotten son and all the rest of my children namely Polley Marshall, Joseph Marshall, Henry Marshall, Richard Marshall, Betsey Marshall, William Marshall & Thos. Marshall. Lastly I constitute make and ordain my brother William Marshall & Mathew Boswell, Junr. jointly executors of this my last will and testament and this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hear unto set my hand and seal this 1st day of October one thousand seven hundred & ninety eight, in presents of Jas Sims, Michael Catterton, George Bingham, Mat Boswell
