Biography
Jane was born about 1769, was the daughter of Cornelius Marshall of Caledon, county Tyrone, and Anne Harrison.[1] Jane and her sister, Alice, kept a cloth or tailor shop in Caledon.[2] Miss Jane Marshall died in late December 1848, aged eighty years; her body was buried in St John's churchyard, Caledon on the 1st January, 1849.[3]

The estimated year of birth is based on the age reported to the clergyman who entered the burial in the church register of St John's, Caledon.
The date of burial has been used as a proxy for the date of death.
