Frederick was born in 1894[1] He was the son of Richard Marshall and Edith Nash. He was christened 5th August 1894 in Frensham, Surrey, England[2] He was living with his parents and siblings in Frensham, Surrey, England in 1901[3] He was still living with his parents and siblings in Cobham, Surrey, England and he was working as a Groom Garden Help in 1911[4]
