John Henry Marshall was born on 14 February 1854 in Collin, Texas, United States, son of John Kent Marshall (about 1811–1867) and Susan Crenshaw (about 1825–about 1863).[1]
John (16) and Ruth Emaline Wilkes (16) were married in 1871 in Collin County, Texas.[2] Ruth was born on 22 May 1854 in Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana, United States. Their known daughter was Susan Harris Marshall (9 July 1879 – 20 February 1960).
John passed away on 26 February 1926 in Silo, Bryan, Oklahoma, United States, aged 72. He was buried in Cox Chapel Cemetery, Bryan County, Oklahoma.[1]
