Samuel was born about 1782. Samuel Marshall passed away in 1840.

  • History of Bradford County, PA 1770-1878 His father Josiah Marshall came from the Wyoming Valley to Sheshequin in 1792. He filled the offices of Constable and Supervisor of Highways. He is listed in 1800 census as living in Ulster. He died March 11, 1804 at the age of 42.
  • History of Bradford County, PA 1770-1878p. 109 In a tax assessment roll published in 1796 his father was living in Tioga which was shortly later divided into Athens and Ulster (ibid p.110). Three of his sons are listed in the book including Samuel.
