Biography
John Marshall was baptized 12 May 1661 at Youlgreave, England.
He immigrated on 23 June 1686 to Philadelphia, PA; ship 'Desire.'
His future wife, Sarah Smith immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1684.
John married Sarah Smith on 19 10 mo 1688 (Old Style) at Friends Meeting, Darby, PA; d. 13 9mo 1729 at Darby, PA.
Children:
- John, b. 16 6mo 1690; m. 1) Joanna Paschall 2) Eleanor Shenton.
- William; b. 11 3mo 1692; d. 1727, m. Mary Sellers
- Thomas; b. 10 12mo 1694; m. Hannah Mendenhall d. after 1733.
John Marshall died on 13 September 1729 in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania.[1]
