Biography
James was born in Manchester, Lancashire, 17 May 1790 & baptised James Earnest Marshall , 18 July 1790 Manchester, St. George, Lancashire the son of John Marshall & Sarah. Date of birth included in entry.[1]
The marriage of James Ernest Marshall & Ann Alice Higham was conducted on 24 September 1824, Bebington, Cheshire. [2]
The marriage of James Ernest Marshall & Mary Cooke was conducted on 27 November 1851, Wilton, Somerset. [3]
A fundholder, with wife Mary & sons in 1861 living in Belmont, Taunton, Somerset. [4]
He died in Belmont Park, Belmont near Taunton on 19 February 1868. [5] [6]
Described as West Indies Merchant. Moved from Liverpool to Taunton approximately 1836
