Biography
Early Life
Edith Nellie Marshall was born in Mile End, London, England on April 23rd 1892. She was the second child and first daughter of Harry Marshall and Susannah Totman . [1] Her older brother, Frederick died in April either just before or just after her birth that year, he was just one year old. Edith was an only child for eight years until the birth of her younger sister, Dorothy, in 1900
