Susannah was born in Hampton, New Hampshire, in 1738, the daughter of John and Susannah (Blake) Marston. The family removed to Falmouth, Maine when she was very young, and she grew up there.[1]
She married Anthony Sawyer in 1755.[2] They had 11 children - nine boys and 2 daughters. After her husband's death in 1804, Susanna and her children sold the family farm.
Susannah died in Westbrook, Maine, in 1819.[3]
