Biography
Thomas was baptised on 26 July 1801 in Norton Gloucestershire by parents William and Patience. [1]
NOTE: I have included the baptism image in the reference because it shows another Thomas Marston baptised 25 days earlier by parents Thomas and Martha.
Any further biography references need to be linked to parents William and Patience to be certain.
Thomas died aged 72 on 23 October 1869 in Monterey County, California, USA. [2] A note (unsourced) on the findagrave record reads: 'Thomas Marston was part of the Illinois Militia under Capt. Harrison P. Crawford in Hancock Co., Illinois that helped expel the Mormons in Hancock Co (1847-1852).
Thomas & wife Mary Ann belonged to the Methodist Episcopal Church.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:
