Biography

Catherine married Jonathan Prescott about 1784 in Deerfield, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA.

Jonathan and Catharine resided in Deerfield, NH and three locations in Province of Maine including Mt Vernon, Rome, and Athens. Jonathan was a last known as a blacksmith in Rome, Maine.

Jonathan and Catharine had seven children including Jonathan b. in Deerfield, NH on August 12, 1786; Simon Marston b. at Deerfield, NH in 1788; Jesse b. in Deerfield, NH on August 28, 1791; Polly b. at Mt. Vernon, Province of Maine, on June 6, 1799; Wedgewood b. at Mt. Vernon, Province of Maine, on June 1, 1801; Hannah b. at Mt. Vernon in December 1803; and Sarah b. in Rome, Province of Maine, on February 2, 1807.

Jonathan died on February 18, 1814 in Athens, Province (now State) of Maine. He left Catharine a widow, who passed away on May 3, 1843 in Rome, Maine.
