Barbara (Martel) Helm was a Black Sea German.

Birth

Barbara was born on November 21, 1827 presumably in the village of Neudorf in the Glückstal district of the Odessa area and Black Sea region of South Russia.[1]


Family

On November 21, 1850, at the age of 23, Barbara married Michael Helm (1827-1915) in Glückstal.[2]
