Louis Martel was born and baptized on 3 Dec 1747 in Verchères, the son of Nicolas Martel and Angélique Guertin[1]
Marie Madeleine Duvernay married Louis Martel, son of Nicolas Martel and Angélique Guertin, on 16 Jan 1769 in Verchères[2]
5 known children from this marriage, 1 of whom died young and 4 who married.[3]
Louis Martel died on 17 oct 1776, funeral on the 18th in Verchères, he was listed as married, aged 31[4], named as present were his brother Nicolas Amable Martel, his uncle Michel Quintal, and Louis Duvernay his brother-in-law, and many others.
