Firmin Martin was born around 1763, likely in Acadie. His parents were Simon Martin and Théotiste Amireau. During the estimated period of Firmin's birth, his parents were recorded in Petcoudiac in June 1757 and were prisoners in Halifax in 1763 with 5 children. After 1763, the family settled in Rustico. [1][2][3]
Before 13 July 1815 both Firmin Martin and his wife Marguerite Poirier are deceased. They are listed as deceased at the time of their daughter Marie's marriage to Amant Gallant. [4]

Martin-75145 and Martin-104 appear to represent the same person because: Date of birth is estimated to before 1763 according to Island Register source. Same spouse, same son Simon.
I removed the parents who add been added some time ago after the initial creation. The father was dead before this man was born. Searching for his real parents. See "Changes" tab for more details. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Stephen White says Barthelemy Martin died before the census of 1761, therefore this man is not his son OR his birth date is wrong. It is also incorrect on the source cited.
