I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?
If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.
I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.
If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.
I have indicated I wish to merge both profiles but was not able to fill in my parents, but their names are correct as listed in one profile. I have only 3 immediate family still living, my son, a whole brother and a half-sister. I'm not sure my brother would want me to list his name and my half sister and I no longer are in touch. She did submit her DNA to ancestry some years ago. My brother and I are close, but neither of us particularly want to be in touch with her; however she a super intelligent, talented woman, and is very beautiful even in her old age. So I would not wish to incite her wrath by adding her name. Hope you understand. Please let me know via email if I need to do anything else to merge & to just be a family member.
forgot to add a McDonnell cousin with Huntsville listed as place of ancestors is on my 23andme list of cousins. She is a female close to my age. Many others with connecting surnames are also on that list. I haven't gotten in touch with her yet but will someday.
many thanks for adding my mcdonnell/makin ancestors. My 2nd great-grandmother, Margaret McDonnell,is buried in the McDonnell Cemetery located @ Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, and there is a readable stone. If you wish a photo of that stone for verification, I can send it from my cell phone.

Thank you for your participation in October’s 2020 Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.
Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.
Thanks so very much for your participation in the spring Clean-a-thon! Every suggestion you cleared (over 200!) made our Tree that much better. The WikiTree community appreciates YOU!
Thank you, Lance, for every one of your more than one thousand contributions to our Shared Tree during the month of September. The Appreciation Team honors you for all of your efforts.
Yes Lance there is a DNA project through FTDNA. Its under the Grierson name. I am not sure how helpful that will be to you since your not a Grierson from your Paternal direct line down. However you can see if you match any of us with the AU-dna on here through gedmatch. Just do a compare with the au people on a Greers profile.
Charles, This Lee surname is mine only by marriage to James Edmon Lee, Father: Paul Edmon Lee, Grandfather: Robert Edward Lee b. South Pittsburgh, TN, died Amory, Monroe, Mississippi. He was a Railroad brakeman on the Friscoe Railroad. lost a leg due to an accident while working at his job, in Tuscaloosa, AL. The leg was buried on land that, later, became the site of an Elementary School. His Daughter, LaVern (nickname: Bernie) Lee, his son, Frank Lee, and Charles Lee (there were other daughters but my mind can't bring up the names. My entire genealogy database is now gone, as well. Charles was an FBI Agent living in California. Their mother was Anna Irwin Lee,.her father: William W. Irwin and her mother: Arabella (if memory serves). She was b. Pennsylvania. The parents are buried in the South Pittsburg City Park.
