Biography
John Martin was born in Union County, South Carolina about 1774.[citation needed]
Will Abstract: John Martin of Carroll County Tennessee wrote his will 17 October 1825. It was proved in the December 1825 Session of Carroll County Court.[1]
In it he named his wife Nancy Martin and the following children:
- Polly Jones
- Jane Green
- William Martin
- Jacob Martin
- Deliatha Martin
- Thomas Martin
- James Martin
- my youngest Son James Martin
He named his son William as executor.
