Hello Carl, I approved the merge of Abraham Shelton (Shelton-2290) and Abraham Shelton (Shelton-1634) that you emailed to me. Please send me a request to be added to the trusted list for your grandfather and I will add you to his profile and related family members. That way you can add to their profiles :)

Hello Carl,

How are you? My name is Sally Stovall, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Helpful guide here: Bartlett and here. We also have a Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

For a list of Member benefits, see Community Members page.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

Hello, I discovered your project while updating my family tree a few days ago. I've poked around this project's site now, and I believe this is the best way I've seen to share and contribute the information collected by my predecessors and handed to me.

The Mission and Rules are written plainly and make good sense. I will do my best to abide by them.
