Biography
Hilda was born in Singleton in 1899. Her parents were John Martin and Ada Wood.[1]
She married Bertram R W Searl in Singleton in 1920. [2]
She passed away in 1981 in Katoomba. [3]
Hilda's Death Notice read:
- "SEARL, Hilda Letitia - June 20, 1981 at hospital, Katoomba, late of Hopetoun Village, Castle Hill, wife of Bertram (deceased), mother and mother-in-law of Joan and Geoff Castleden (Wentworth Falls), grandmother of their children. Aged 82." [4]
She was cremated at Castlebrook.
