Barclay S. Martin, Civil Engineer, Dies in Hospital at Royal City

NEW WESTMINSTER, Dec. 22 -- Barclay S. Martin, 507 Seventh avenue, who was employed for many years as civil engineer by the Provincial Government, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, where he had been a patient for about two weeks.

Mr. Martin was born in Victoria 42 years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by a young son; a brother, William Martin, Sylvia Court, Vancouver; his father, Samuel Martin, 507 Seventh avenue, and three sisters, Mrs. Monte Fraser, Golden; Mrs. James Cran, Summerland, and Mrs. Doherty, wife of the late Dr. C.E. Doherty, a former superintendent of the B.C. mental hospitals.
