Hammond on 13 August 1847 at Benton, Saline County, Arkansas.6,2 James Hutchinson Martin married Mary Lee. Rowland on 31 October 1849 at in the home of Harris Rowland, Benton, Saline County, Arkansas.4,7,2 James Hutchinson Martin died on 19 October 1878 at Junction, Kimble County, Texas, at age 52. He was buried after 19 October 1878 at Gentry Creek Cemetery, Kimble County, Texas. James Hutchinson Martin was also known as James Henry Martin According to Lee Jeff Corkill, Jr. the family always knew him as James Henry, but in his father's will (Andrew Martin, will recorded 24 Sep 1834, Cape Girardeau County, MO - Book B, pp123-124) his name is given as James Hutchinson. As of May 1992, all legal documents found other than the will refer to him as James H. Martin.5
