Biography

Birth: 1845 Death: Dec. 30, 1936

Mrs. Catalina Smith, 91, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Simons, at Rockfield, at noon Wednesday. She was the widow of Joseph Smith. Mrs. Smith had been ill but a few days. Surviving are four sons, four daughters, thirty-six grandchildren, eighty-seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mellissa LaRue of West Branch, Iowa. The daughters are Mrs. Simons, Mrs. Mary Butterbaugh, Mrs. Dora Hiers of Logansport, and Mrs. Laura Wallace of Burnettsville, and the sons are William and Ralph of Georgetown, Charles of Rossville, and Arlie of Mulberry.
