Biography

John was born in 1821 in St Gluvias, Cornwall. His father was a powder mill worker. John had ten children with his first wife Ann Nancy Weeks (five sons and five daughters) and was widowed. He remarried and had three more children with his second wife Margaret (Grady) Morton. [1]
