Biography

Daughter of Stephen Martin and Elizabeth Dobyns, Susanna Jane was born on March 4, 1811, in Patrick, Virginia. She married James Adison Massey on 27 May 1832 in Henry, Virginia.[1]They had ten children in 22 years.

In the 1850 census Susanna (age 40) was in Northern District, Patrick, Virginia, United States.[2]
