On 10 Nov 1773 Peachy Martin stole a gelding and rig from Matthew Stubbing. He was tried at Bury St. Edmunds on 22 Ap;ril 1774. He was convicted and sentenced to death, but the sentence was commuted to transportation for 14 years. [4]

1789 Purchased Land

In 1789 Martin was in Baltimore County when he purchased part of Sportsman’s Hall from Darby Lux. [3]

1792 Witnessed Will

On 6 Feb 1792 Martin, with Mordecai Wheeler and Peter Armacost witnessed the will of Mary Doyle (BAWB 5:38)[3]
