Biography

John was born 1 May 1642 in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of his father John Martin (abt.1617-abt.1665) and his mother, Rebecca Byfield.

He served in Captain Samuel Moseley's company in the King Philip War of 1675.[1]

He married Mary Mudge (abt.1641-abt.1718) on 14 April 1671, in Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
