Biography

Wesley was born 19 March 1880 in Kentucky (probably in Hart County). He is the son of Samuel Martin and Sarilda Clymer.

He may have originally had the name of Robert, because there was a Robert shown on the US census in 1800. The family was enumerated on June 1 and Robert was listed as being one month old, at a time when Wesley should have been less than 3 months old.
