[2]and they were the parents of Mary Ann (Bowerman) Mobbs, George Bowerman (1841–1841), Martha Bowerman, George Henry Bowerman (1845–1845), Jane Elizabeth Bowerman (1850–1929), Susannah Bowerman (1853–1918), Elisa Bowerman (1855–1907), Lavinia Bowerman (1860–1931), George Arthur Bowerman (1862–1941), Sarah A Bowerman (1864–1936).

Mary Ann passed away on 10 January 1870 in Pennant Hills, New South Wales, Australia [3].

Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), Saturday 15 January 1870. [4] On the 10th instant, at her residence, Pennant Hills, MARY ANN, the beloved wife of GEORGE BOWERMAN, aged 48 years, leaving a husband and nine children, and a large circle of relatives and friends, to mourn their loss.
