Thomas Martin was born in 1722 in Kirkpatrick, Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. He was the son of Hendrie Martin and his wife Margaret Wilkin.
He was baptised on 28 Jan 1700 in Kirkpatrick, Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
He died on 26 December 1759 aged 63
