Joseph Jackson Martin was born in 1842 in Liberty County, Georgia to William H. Martin and Elizabeth Daniel.[1][2] He married Eliza Elizabeth Swindle in 1869 in Liberty County, Georgia.[3][4][5] Joseph passed away in 1896 in Liberty County, Georgia and is buried in the Taylors Creek Cemetery in Fort Stewart, Georgia.[6]
