Sarah Martin married James Grant at Newtownards, County Down, Ireland on 30 June 1875. [1] [2]

They emigrated on board SS Waroonga, Captain A. A.. Fyfe, from Glasgow with 321 Immigrants and a general cargo. They arrived in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on 2 October 1885. [3]

She passed away in 1896 [4] and was buried on 27 August 1896 at the Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia,
