Biography

Dabney was born in 1778. He was the son of Thomas Martin and Susannah Walker. He passed away in 1850.

From A History of Mulenberg County:[1]

Among those who during the first years of the Eighteenth Century settled in the neighborhood of Old Liberty was Mrs. Susannah Walker Martin, widow of Thomas Martin of Virginia, who was a Revolutionary soldier. She moved to Muhlenberg in 1805... Her son, Dabney Amos, who had located in Georgia in 1800, later moved to Alabama, where he died in 1850.
